What are patients looking when they make an appointment to see a robotic hip/knee surgeon?

Patients often turn to a hip or knee replacement in the private sector as they don't wish to spend a long time on waiting lists. Most of the patients I see have been recommended by friends and family. By the time they come to my clinic, they have also often done lots of research online, using platforms such as Doctify to look at patient reviews. I would also advise patients to look at NJR results to see a surgeon's funnel plots as to their outcomes. Patients are looking for a quick appointment and surgery slot as well as high level patient care with end to end care from their chosen consultant. Often even before surgery, they are keen to know about recovery times so they can get back to activities they love.
